The Infant Jesus English Medium School (IJEMS) is dedicated to Jesus Christ, the Supreme Guru and eternal source of light, wisdom, and truth. His life and teachings illuminate every step we take as an academic community. We depend on His divine grace to enlighten the minds and hearts of all who are part of this institution. Embracing the ideal of “Jñānena Mukti”—Liberation through Wisdom—we believe that genuine education leads to intellectual growth, moral clarity, inner freedom, and spiritual depth.
Our inspiration is deeply rooted in the legacy of St. Kuriakose Elias Chavara, the visionary founder of the Congregation of the Mother of Carmel (CMC). A pioneering educationist, writer, and social reformer, St. Chavara dedicated his life to the upliftment of society through education, compassion, and values. His farsighted vision urges us to provide quality education to the future citizens of our nation. His commitment to social renewal challenges us to be catalysts of transformation—forming students who are intellectually competent, spiritually grounded, socially responsible, and creatively active in building a better world.
We also draw strength and inspiration from St. Euphrasia Eluvathingal, affectionately known as the “Praying Mother.” A saint of deep humility, prayerfulness, and unwavering faith, she reminds us that the foundation of true education is purity of heart and closeness to God. Her life of silent sacrifice, boundless love, and constant prayer encourages us to cultivate an environment where children grow in goodness, kindness, and spiritual grace. St. Euphrasia teaches us that holiness is found in everyday actions done with love and sincerity.
Guided by these three pillars—Jesus Christ, St. Chavara, and St. Euphrasia—we strive to build an institution where knowledge, character, discipline, and service unite to form enlightened individuals who shine brightly in the world.
